EMILY FRUTOS KRUEGER

Emily Frutos Krueger was born and raised near Barcelona, Spain. After moving to the United States, she began her formal ballet training at Mankato Ballet Company in Minnesota under the direction of Eryn Michlitsch and Riley Thomas Weber. Emily moved to Connecticut to pursue a BFA in Dance with a Ballet Pedagogy emphasis and a minor in Performing Arts Management at the University of Hartford's The Hartt School. During her time at Hartt, she performed in both new and restaged works by José Limón, August Bournonville, Martha Graham, Anna Hughlett, Kristalyn Gill, Danielle Genest, Debra Collins Ryder, and Stephen Pier. Emily graduated in May 2026 and was honored with the 2026 Ballet Pedagogy Excellence Award. She has supplemented her training through summer intensive programs with Kansas City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Ballet Royale Minnesota, and Orlando Ballet, as well as completed an internship with Joffrey Ballet School in NYC. She is thrilled to begin the next chapter in her dance journey with Ballet Hartford.
