HOLLY WELPOTT

Holly Welpott, born and raised in Dixon, California, began her training with Applegate Dance Studio and Marin Dance Theater. Welpott continued her training in college at Saint Mary's College of California and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. She graduated from Saint Marys with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance: Performance and Choreography with honors in the major, Phi Kappa Phi, and Summa Cum Laude. She was also selected and awarded at the national level for her choreographic work, “She Remembers” at  American College Dance Association’s National Gala. After college, Welpott continued her professional career dancing with various companies in the west coast including Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater, Davalos Dance Company, and CHADASH-Contemporary Dance Movement. While continuing her career as a dancer, Welpott has also continued her teaching and choreographic career working for various studios and companies throughout California, and now here in Connecticut.
