ERIN DORMER

Erin Dormer, from Long Island, New York, began her dance training at the age of three at Tap to Pointe Dance Center, in Malverne, New York. As a student there, she studied ballet, tap, and jazz, under Sara DeGennaro and received multiple awards during her tenure. She recently graduated from highschool in 2023, where she also participated in ballet technique classes and performed in Balachine’s The Nutcracker where she was selected to perform leading roles including the Dew Drop Fairy and the Sugar Plum Fairy. In addition to this training, Erin also received scholarships and attended summer intensives with the American Academy of Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey New York, participating in technique, repertoire, pas de deux, and contemporary classes. Erin is excited to join Ballet Hartford for the 2023-2024 season as a trainee!
