PAYTON MCGREW

Payton McGrew grew up in Charleston, South Carolina training in many different styles of dance before attending Classical Ballet Centre under the direction of Melania Ballish Reguerio. During her time there she trained in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum where she received high honors in the Level 6 Exam from Adjudicator and Curriculum Co-Author Franco De Vita. After graduating, she went on to study ballet, jazz, and modern at Point Park University under the direction of Garfield Lemonius. She joined Ballet Hartford in 2022 and during her time with the company she has performed classical and contemporary works by Norbert De la Cruz III, Claire Kretzschmar, and many more. In addition to her career as a dancer, Payton is also a teacher and choreographer throughout Connecticut. Payton is excited to return to Ballet Hartford this season!
