EDUARDO VARAS-HEISS

The only dancer in a family of musicians, Eduardo Varas-Heiss started his dance training at the age of three. Born in Massachusetts, he studied with Boston Ballet before moving to Rye, New York. For the last years of high school, he attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts, back in Massachusetts.

After graduating, Eduardo matriculated to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, dancing with Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre under John Meehan and Miriam Mahdaviani-Goldstone until returning home to Rye. There, he fell in love with Balanchine technique at Rye Ballet Conservatory under Ashlee Knapp Stewart, Paul Boos, and Tyler Angle.

Eduardo joined the corps de ballet of Ballet Hartford in 2025.
