Laurie M. Menekou is the owner of Conceptual Communications, a public relations and marketing firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL and West Hartford, CT. Named the "2018 Agency of the Year" by the Public Relations Society of America - Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter, Mrs. Ernest-Jones and her team at Conceptual Communications provide crisis communications, public relations, and marketing services to an elite client roster. The firm's client roster includes the City of Stamford, the City of Parkland, the City of Delray Beach, the Town of Lauderdale-By-The Sea, the City of Wilton Manors, PharMerica, and Locality Bank, just to name a few. Maintaining unwavering dedication to her community, Mrs. Ernest-Jones has served as Lit Lunch Co-Chair since 2011 helping to raise nearly $250,000 for literacy programs funded by the Broward Public Library Foundation. Mrs. Ernest-Jones also serves on the Board for the Broward Public Library Foundation, Center for Independent Living of Broward County, and as the Vice Chair of the Branding Committee for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, Mrs. Ernest-Jones was honored by the Leadership Broward Foundation as a Lady of Leadership and is also a Rotary Alumni having served as a cultural ambassador on the 2007 Group Study Exchange Team that traveled to Argentina.  
Born and raised in New York, Mrs. Ernest-Jones holds a Master of Science in Mass Communication from Florida International University. She maintains residences in West Hartford, CT and Fort Lauderdale, FL with her husband Nate and son Wrenly.
