MARISSA SIMPSON
Marissa Simpson, a Tennessee Native, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Radford University, where she was also awarded the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award. Throughout Marissa's collegiate years she performed in pieces choreographed by Ji-Eun Lee, James W. Robey, Amy VanKirk, and Deborah McLaughlin. Throughout her years of training, Marissa has performed various roles and excerpts from ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, and La Esmerelda. Marissa has also developed her training through residencies with highly renowned artists, including Marc Spaulding, Maxx Reed, Madia Cooper Ashirifi, and General McArthur Hambrick. Additionally, she has spent her summers training with Nashville Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and Orlando Ballet.
